柬埔寨：比亚迪投资3,200万美元启动电动车组装项目
Cambodia: BYD Launches USD 32 Million EV Assembly Plant in Sihanoukville

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD (1211) has commenced construction of its passenger car factory in Cambodia, according to a statement from the Chinese Embassy in the country.The facility, located within the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, spans 120,000 square meters and is designed to produce up to 10,000 vehicles annually. Operations are scheduled to begin before the end of the year, according to an announcement published Monday on the zone’s official WeChat account. In the first quarter of the year, BYD secured close to 1,000 orders for its new energy vehicles in the Cambodian market, the statement added.
